I’ve loved and learned so much from every course of Danbee’s I’ve been a part of. While the other programs I recommend in this category are more focused on WordPress, The Fast Track System is helpful no matter which platform you use to design websites because the focus is on the business side of your web design business. (Danbee herself uses Squarespace for client sites as well as her own).

The Virtual Savvy

The Virtual Savvy was one of the first online business communities I joined, and it’s also where I connected with two of my first long-term clients, so it will always have a special place in my business story. I’m still a member of today, and even though I’m now pretty firmly focused on website services rather than tech VA work, there is so much value in the training, coaching, and community. If you’re building or growing a virtual assistant or freelance service business, it’s an incredible resource.

WordPress Plugins

A laptop displays the Pretty Links website homepage, featuring options for link shortening, analytics, and affiliate marketing tools.

Pretty Links

Almost all of the button links on this page are Pretty Links! 🔍 Not only does this plugin make affiliate links considerably shorter and “prettier” while allowing you to use your own branding, but when a link breaks (say, when someone changes their affiliate program), you only have to update the link one time within the plugin. Next thing you know, all those pretty links you’ve shared will automatically update to the new destination—pretty nifty indeed.
