Blog Post Support: E. Houston Studio researches, writes, optimizes, and publishes one complete blog post per month based on your chosen topic. This includes premium licensed and/or royalty-free images with image and on-page SEO optimization.

WordPress websites require specific technical maintenance to stay secure and perform well. For WordPress users, you’ll be required to purchase the hosting & maintenance add-on for $30/month. You have the option to pay for the year upfront to save 10%, or you can enroll in monthly auto-pay.

For clients on any of the Website Growth Plans, the WordPress add-on makes sure your WordPress site stays secure and performs optimally.

For websites I didn’t personally build, we start with a thorough paid audit and strategy session ($197).

Unlike my Website Wellness Review, this comprehensive onboarding process includes access to your website’s backend to assess technical aspects, security, and performance.

If your site needs significant updates before beginning our monthly care, I may recommend a Website Rejuvenation Day to set your site up for success.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you decide to cancel, you’ll maintain access to all published content. For WordPress websites, you have two options:

1. Continue with basic WordPress Hosting & Maintenance for $59/month to retain hosting, security updates, backups, and premium plugin access.
2. Fully discontinue services, in which case you’ll lose access to auto-updating legal pages, Fathom Analytics, premium WordPress plugin access, and hosting.

For non-WordPress websites (Squarespace, Showit, Wix, etc.) you’ll lose access to auto-updating legal pages, Fathom Analytics, and my support upon cancellation. I’m happy to provide information about securing these elements independently if needed for any website platform.

Absolutely! All content created during your plan—blog posts, social media graphics, newsletters, etc.—belongs to you. If you decide to cancel, you’ll retain ownership of all published content. The only exceptions are premium plugin access, hosting, and auto-updating legal pages, which require an ongoing subscription.

Of course! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan with 5 business days’ notice before the start of the next billing period.

Work hours are allocated monthly and don’t roll over. I encourage you to use them for regular website updates and improvements to maximize your plan’s value.

Additional hours are available (my schedule permitting) at preferred rates based on your plan level ($65-75/hour). The higher your plan tier, the lower your hourly rate for additional work.

Your dedicated monthly work hours are flexible and can be used for a variety of tasks, including website content updates, additional social media graphics, PDF lead magnet creation, podcast transcription, online course updates, and more. We’ll discuss your specific needs during our onboarding session and can adjust as your business evolves.

If you need additional written blog posts beyond what’s included in your plan, I’d be happy to discuss options. For the Orchid plan with complete blog post writing, I can partner with specialized content creators for larger content requirements. For keyword research, optimization, and publishing of content you provide, we can use your monthly work hours to accommodate additional blog posts beyond the one included in your plan.

There’s no minimum commitment period. You can cancel up to 5 days before the end of the month to avoid renewal for the following month. Please note there are no partial refunds for the current month.

Website Growth Plans are currently available for WordPress, Showit, Squarespace, and Wix. The WordPress hosting and maintenance add-on is only necessary for WordPress sites.
