Hourly Rate
Sometimes you donโt need a full system; you just need something handled cleanly and efficiently.
I offer hourly support for website, content, and light design updates, with preferred pricing for clients who already work with me on an ongoing basis.
A quick note on scope:
Hourly rates apply differently depending on the type of work requested and the level of responsibility involved.
Content-focused updates may be billed at the active client rate, while infrastructure-level or diagnostic work (such as hosting, plugin, theme, or error troubleshooting) is billed separately and may be subject to a minimum, regardless of client status.
For Active Clients โ $70/hour
Billed in 15-minute increments
If youโre an active client in the Strategic Content & Website System, you receive a reduced hourly rate for additional requests beyond your included monthly time.
Because I already know your website, your platform, and how your business works, I can jump in quickly and work efficiently without spending extra time getting oriented.
This rate applies to content-focused requests beyond your included monthly time and does not apply to infrastructure-level work.
For New or Inactive Clients โ $100/hour
One-hour minimum, billed in 15-minute increments thereafter
For clients who are not currently on an active support plan, a one-hour minimum applies. This accounts for the time needed to review site access, settings, and overall context before work begins.
Any additional time beyond the first hour is billed in 15-minute increments.
If you anticipate ongoing updates, the Strategic Content & Website System is often a better long-term fit.
WordPress Infrastructure Support (Important)
Infrastructure-level WordPress support for sites without Full Admin Support (such as hosting, plugin, theme, or error troubleshooting) is billed at the $100/hour rate and subject to the one-hour minimum.
For clients on Full Admin Support, routine technical tasks (such as standard plugin or theme updates) may be included within monthly time. More advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, or repairs may be scoped separately and billed hourly if they fall outside routine maintenance.
What Kind of Work Is Billed Hourly?
Hourly support is ideal for content-focused and light technical updates, such as:
- Publishing or formatting blog posts and pages
- Updating copy, images, banners, or CTAs
- Adjusting layouts for desktop or mobile
- Embedding forms, tools, or third-party features
- Making SEO updates when requested separately
- Adding seasonal announcements, offers, or notices
- Updating navigation menus or footer content
- Customizing existing templates or making minor design tweaks
If youโre unsure whether your request fits under hourly support, just ask. Iโm happy to help you decide the best approach. ๐
